Tigertail + Mary | VIP Preview of Michael Schwartz’ Newest Coconut Grove Eatery Posted on May 23, 2019 by Michael Light The James Beard award-winning Chef, Michael Schwartz, is opening another cool-concept restaurant in Coconut Grove dubbed ‘Tigertail + Mary,’ which is gearing up to open to the public at the end of May, but is set for a VIP invite-only preview tonight Thursday, May 23rd. The preview will host VIP guests to enjoy delicious bites and craft cocktails from the menu, in addition to unveiling the Fernando Botero sculpture which stands right outside the front doors of the new restaurant. The event will end with a private screening of the film ‘Botero,’ which was showcased at the Miami Film Festival. Botero, which is a poetic chronicle film of the painter’s life and art will be displayed in the exclusive amphitheater in Park Grove. About Tigertail + Mary Tigertail + Mary is situated at the cornerstone of Tigertail Avenue and Mary Street (a little “on the nose,” I know) in the heart of Center Coconut Grove.
