The Essential Guide to Coconut Grove Restaurants

Coconut Grove is truly an extraordinary neighborhood in Miami, offering some of the best restaurants in South Florida. Whether you are in the mood for authentic Northern Italian cuisine at Strada in the Grove, traditional Thai noodles at Atchana’s Homegrown Thai, a lobster reuben at The Spillover or a chef-curated pizza from Harry’s Pizzeria, Coconut Grove is the spot for foodies!

*It should be noted that in line with the “small town” charm of the Grove, of the more than 45 restaurants on this list, NONE of them are national chains*

As Grove residents, we understand that there are so many restaurants to choose from, and new ones coming into the neighborhood with the resurgence of the Grove happening as we speak, so we created this Coconut Grove restaurant guide for our clients, readers and neighbors. Below, you will find our ‘Essential Guide to Coconut Grove Restaurants,’ which is alphabetized for your convenience. Our list provides contact information for each restaurant, a clickable website link and a brief description of the restaurants from our perspective, as Groveites. Also, at the end of each description, we noted if each restaurant has a full bar or serves just beer and wine.

‘CODE 33’

For those of you who do not know, if you live in Coconut Grove and you have an I.D. showing your 33133 home zip code, you may be given a discount on your bill at the restaurants below as part of ‘CODE 33.’ Not all restaurants honor CODE 33, but most of them do!

Honorable Mention

Finally, before we get into the list, we must tell you that there is a Grove staple that is not listed below because it is not an actual restaurant, but it needs to be included because it is a landmark in Coconut Grove…A.C.’s Icees. A.C.’s Icees is a ‘food’ truck that has been parked at Coconut Grove’s Kennedy Park for over 30 years, operated by its owner, Allan Cohen, who is the only person allowed to sell anything in the public park. A.C.’s Icees is highly celebrated for its delicious Icees which includes only frosted lemonade, cherry lemonade and pina colada flavors. Simple, but a must try in Coconut Grove!
