Coconut Grove is truly an extraordinary neighborhood in Miami, offering some of the best restaurants, cafes and mouth-watering dessert spots in South Florida. Over the past couple of years, Coconut Grove has been completely revitalized on every level, especially its dining scene! Coconut Grove has attracted the nations’ elite foodie entrepreneurs and influential food groups to open new restaurants in The Grove offering specialty menus filled with local and international flair.
Whether you are in the mood for a business power lunch at Sadelle’s, hanging out at a Grove favorite hotspot like Green Street, mouth-watering vegan bites at Planta Queen, delicious sushi at Sushi Garage or an energetic dinner at David Grutman’s chic, celebrity-loved Key Club, Coconut Grove has an eclectic variety of restaurants for the most discerning taste!
*It should be noted that in line with the “small town” charm of the Grove, of the more than 50 restaurants on this list, NONE of them are national chains*
As Grove residents, we understand that there are so many restaurants to choose from, and new ones coming into the neighborhood with the resurgence of the Grove happening as we speak, so we created this Coconut Grove restaurant guide for our clients, readers and neighbors. Below, you will find our ‘Essential Guide to Coconut Grove Restaurants,’ which is alphabetized for your convenience. Our list provides contact information for each restaurant, a clickable website link and a brief description of the restaurants from our perspective, as Groveites. Also, at the end of each description, we noted if each restaurant has a full bar or serves just beer and wine.
Honorable Mention
Finally, before we get into the list, we must tell you that there is a Grove staple that is not listed below because it is not an actual restaurant or cafe, but it needs to be included because it is a landmark in Coconut Grove…A.C.’s Icees.
