Park Grove Developers Host ‘Evolution of Coconut Grove’ Lunch & Learn Panel

 
Terra Group and Related Group, the co-developers of Coconut Grove’s newest ultra-luxury bayfront condo project along South Bayshore Drive, Park Grove, hosted an informative lunch and learn panel on Wednesday afternoon at the Park Grove sales center regarding the evolution of Coconut Grove. This event focused on the renaissance of Coconut Grove which is Miami’s oldest neighborhood, and showcased new happenings in the culinary, retail, residential, design and architectural worlds – in the Grove. The panel included an “A-List” of major players in the community who are responsible for and/or affiliated with new exciting projects that will thrust Coconut Grove back into the ultimate South Florida hot spot that it once was…but it will be even better!

The panel was moderated by The Real Deal’s Ina Cordle, and the panelists included Terra Group’s, David Martin; The Related Group’s Carlos Rosso; CEO of Comras Company, Michael Comras; Award-Winning Chef Michael Schwartz; Architect Carlos Prio-Touzet; Commercial Broker Chris Dekker; Restaurateur Maurizio Farinelli; Owner of H&H Jewels, H. Bredemeier; and Architect Robert Lloyd.

“Coconut Grove was the original sexy in South Florida,” said Bredemeir, who also explained how Coconut Grove is not just a place, “it is a lifestyle.” Coconut Grove offers everything that you could possibly want…a family-oriented friendly environment, marina/boat life, delicious restaurants, eclectic shopping, the best schools, lush parks, museums and tons of history. Unfortunately, as the panelists explained, Coconut Grove for the past 20 or so years lost its spark to the glitz and glam of Miami Beach, but with the major resurgence that is underway in the Grove, Coconut Grove will definitely get its groove back and will soon become the sexy place that it once was!

Another Park Grove Luxury Residence Just Sold at One Park Grove

 
The Miami Luxury Homes Group at Douglas Elliman just sold another luxury residence at the highly-anticipated One Park Grove in Coconut Grove.

Unit 9C at One Park Grove, the most exclusive of the three towers in the luxe development, was sold to an affluent buyer from New York City. Our client, which I will not name, originally looked at multiple developments throughout South Florida including Miami Beach and South Beach. But, as I got to know my client on a personal level and learned that she grew up in a family of art connoisseurs, I quickly understood that she has a true appreciation for art, culture, exclusivity, architecture and design. This helped me significantly narrow down the residential developments that would be most suitable, and of course One Park Grove was my first choice.

Designed by world-renowned architectural firm Rem Koolhaus’ OMA, the entire concept of Park Grove is sculptural, organic, exclusive and perfectly fitting for Coconut Grove. The general idea behind OMA’s concept of Park Grove was the art installation by Christo when he wrapped the islands of Biscayne Bay, and this creative architectural design is reflective of the Bohemian, relaxed aquatic culture of The Grove. The natural feeling of the exteriors seamlessly flow through to the interiors which were ingeniously designed by Meyer Davis who carefully selected materials of wood, stones and metals that were compatible with the exterior but also exude sophistication and elegance.

As some of you may already know, I personally sold the final 2 remaining units in the Club Residences at Park Grove which is now sold out. There are only several units remaining in Tower 2, and One Park Grove is close to 40% sold, making the entire project more than 85% sold.
