The Miami Luxury Homes Group at Douglas Elliman Real Estate is proud to announce that two of Michael Light’s clients just closed on their units in the newly-opened, ultra-luxe Coconut Grove condo development, Park Grove. Michael’s clients purchased units 908 and 606 in Tower 3 at Park Grove, known as Park Grove Club Residences.  These 2 individual buyers are both coincidentally from Canada and both buying in Park Grove as investment opportunities with long-term plans to eventually use them for their winter getaways. Both of Michael’s clients visited Miami over 2 years ago to visit different projects throughout South Florida, but after visiting several Miami new construction projects, each respective tour finished at the Park Grove sales gallery and both clients fell for the desirable views and long-term investment opportunity that Park Grove offers.

These are not first-time investors. In fact, between both of them, they own more than 20 properties across the globe. But, since they were each making their first purchase in Miami, their budgets were at “let’s test the water” level so their tours did not, at the time, warrant a visit to new construction condos in Miami Beach. They originally wanted to focus on Edgewater and Brickell, like so many foreign buyers do, without much thought of Coconut Grove.

After satisfying their wants, Michael turned the focus to their needs by truly understanding what their short-term goals were, in addition to their long-term vision for their investment. Accordingly, Michael shared his annual Coconut Grove Market Report with each of the buyers, showing them the upward trajectory for Coconut Grove prices, and also showing them where Edgewater and Brickell were trending. After seeing the straight-forward market statistics, and Michael’s affinity for Coconut Grove, the clients quickly agreed to visit Park Grove. Fast forward to this week and you can obviously see what happened. When comparing Coconut Grove as a neighborhood and the quality of Park Grove to other neighborhoods in Miami, they felt it was an easy decision on where their first Miami purchase was going to be.

Last month, Michael was the only person to be granted access to shoot all of the newly-opened Park Grove Amenities. After sharing the amenity photos with his clients, they could not wait to arrive in Miami for their closings and see the finished building in person. Upon seeing it in person, Park Grove exceeded both of their expectations.
