Missoni Baia, introduced by the OKO Group in collaboration with internationally-renowned Italian fashion house Missoni, now has renderings, and this new Edgewater condo development is definitely not any ordinary condo building. Although I cannot publish all of the renderings, I did get a sneak-peek of the renderings of Missoni Baia and wanted you to get a glimpse of the condo project that people are already dubbing the “Apogee of Edgewater.”

Located on more than 2.5 waterfront acres at 700 Northeast 26th Terrace in East Edgewater, this stunning 56-story residential tower designed by acclaimed Asymptote Architecture in conjunction with Revuelta Architecture will consist of 146 luxury residences with interiors designed by Paris Forino Design. Residences at Missoni Baia will range in size from 2,400 to 3,500 (under a/c) square feet (not including penthouse residences) with only 3 units per floor.

Amenities at Missoni Baia will include a flow-through sun deck with an Olympic-sized pool, lounge pool, children’s pool, cabanas and tennis courts. Residents will also have exclusive access to the luxe development’s bayfront terrace with an infinity-edge pool, a fitness center and wellness spa.

Miami DDA Releases Greater Downtown Real Estate Report – Q1 2016

 
The Miami Downtown Development Authority (“Miami DDA”) recently released their 2016 Greater Downtown Miami Annual Residential Real Estate Report (Q1) which provides an update on the Greater Downtown Miami condo market showcasing upcoming developments, sales and leasing metrics and an all-new leverage analysis. The 2016 report shows that the condo market in Miami is showing signs of maturity and resiliency, as sales velocity and pricing appreciation continues to stabilize.

The report was prepared for Miami DDA by Integra Realty Resources, which is the largest independent commercial real estate market research, valuation and consulting firm in North America.

Hyde Midtown Penthouse Sale Sets Record in Midtown Miami

FAA Approves Elysee in Edgewater—Tallest Height Permitted

 
The FAA has already approved the newest luxury condo development in Edgewater, Elysee Miami, at the tallest height permitted.

Standing 57 stories, Elysee will rise 644 feet above ground (649 feet above sea level), which is the maximum height permitted in Edgewater.

Elysee will offer 100 luxury condo residences, with only 2 units per floor. Prices at Elysee Miami are currently averaging around $750 per square foot.

Construction on Elysee Miami is supposed to commence in the first quarter of 2016 with an estimated completion in 2018.
