Dezer’s Bentley Residences In Sunny Isles Breaks Ground

Construction has officially begun on the luxe Bentley Residences in Sunny Isles Beach, a partnership between Bentley Motors and Dezer Development. This week, the developer hosted a lavish event to celebrate the milestone on the project site at 18401 Collins Avenue in Sunny Isles.

Built with the needs of Bentley car owners in mind, the 749-foot beachfront skyscraper will be home to the ‘Dezervator,’ a patented car lift that allows owners to display their collections in glass garages next to the residence itself… even in the 62nd-story penthouse.

Inside Bentley Residences

While the Dezervator is an incredible feature of the project, there are countless additional points to experience. With the essence of class and sophistication that sweeps through each of the 216 residences, guests and owners alike can enjoy resort-style luxury living in a boutique environment.

Gil Dezer, who is one of the most successful developers in Sunny Isles, designed Bentley as a sister project to his Porsche Design Tower that was completed in 2016. The idea is an unparalleled level of luxury and convenience with the knowledge that a large portion of the owners will be billionaires. To-date, both Wyclef Jean and rapper Future have spoken for residences in the tower.

Each of the residences themselves will balance the energy of the indoor/outdoor lifestyle and uninterrupted views of the Atlantic Ocean and surrounding waterways from each unit. In order to seamlessly maximize the views, the tower is wrapped in beveled floor-to-ceiling glass that causes a diamond-like sparkling effect to passers-by. This effect is designed to emulate the diamond pattern that is distinctly Bentley.

With the indoor/outdoor lifestyle that is embraced at Bentley Residences, each home boasts a sprawling glass-guarded terrace with a living, kitchen and pool area. The indoor kitchens are appointed with seamlessly integrated Gaggenau appliance packages that offer refrigerators, dishwashers, wine coolers and cooking range/ovens.

Resort-Level Services + Amenities

Always pushing the envelope to stay on the cutting edge, Dezer has curated an amenity list that offers the best of convenience and style with the level of comfort and luxury that is synonymous with the Bentley name.

Aside from the expected wellness center and social lounges, Bentley Tower elevates the level of luxury further. They have added an F1 simulator to the golf simulator room for those who are auto lovers through and through. The onsite restaurant is not just an available perk, it is an unrivaled five star food and beverage program by celebrity Chef Todd English.

No detail has been spared in any instance of the development, which is the first-ever Bentley-branded tower in the world.

The project is currently more than 50% sold, with purchase opportunities remaining from the $5 million range for 3-bedroom layouts to $57 million for the upper penthouse. Construction is set to be completed in 2027.

Bentley Residences Prepares For Groundbreaking

As the summer is winding down, Gil Dezer is winding up to break ground on his latest development, the 63-story Bentley Residences in Sunny Isles. To prepare for the event that will take place in Q4 of 2023, he has hired Douglas Elliman Development Marketing to spearhead a sales campaign for the remaining purchase opportunities.

The groundbreaking of Bentley Residences was previously announced to take place on June 1, but this date was later moved as the summer months are typically slower in Miami real estate than the fall and winter months.

Douglas Elliman is very pleased to be involved with a well-thought-out project such as Bentley. Its sister building, Porsche Design Tower at 18555 Collins Avenue was a resounding success with the debut of his patented Dezervator.  This is a special lift that raises residents in their cars to their luxury condo units in the sky. Each residence at Bentley Tower is slated to have at least three parking spots.

Inside the residences, you will find expansive terraces that are framed by glass walls, ensuring that you can use the outdoor living spaces year-round without worrying about the sea wind. The statement diamond theme is present throughout the tower, from the glistening beveled glass throughout the condominiums.

The project is anticipated to have a $1.2 billion sell-out with residences priced fron $5.3 million, up from $3.9 million that was offered upon the debut of the project. It is common for prices to increase in new luxury projects as the construction groundbreaking nears.

Bentley Tower has already been a hit with celebrities, with Wyclef Jean and rapper Future both signing for a new home there.

The amenities that are slated to be offered for the development include a private restaurant by celebrity chef Todd English. It is slated to be completed in 2026.

Bentley Residences Miami Gets A New Private Restaurant + A New Celebrity Neighbor

The weeks following the South Beach Wine & Food Festival have been jam-packed at Bentley Residences in Sunny Isles. For starters, a deal was finalized that welcomes famed chef Todd English and another celebrity has decided to change his address to 18401 Collins Avenue.

During the SOBEWFF, a private dinner was held for 150 guests to announce the new partnership between the ultra-luxury development and the four-time James Beard Award recipient. Celebrity Chef English took over the model kitchen in the development’s $10 million sales gallery to whip up a tasting of Australian Wagyu beef in celebration of his new post as the culinary director for the development.

Once opened, he will be very hands-on with the culinary experience of Bentley’s residents. There will be a private residents-only restaurant as well as in-home dining or poolside al fresco dining and drinks. The curated cuisine is anticipated to be freshly sourced with a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere.

“Luxury is defined in many different ways, but taking solace and having more personal space in your own way is a great feature of new luxury experiences. It’s like carving out your own niche. Today, the more we become automated, the more we need our own personalized space, and the resident-only restaurant is a perfect example of newly defined luxury experiences,” English said.

Chef English’s culinary inspiration draws from influences in the Mediterranean. In addition to award winning meals, he is also heralded for his philanthropic work as well as his contribution to culinary media. He has one of the most well-known hospitality brands in the world with critically acclaimed cookbooks as well as hosting and producing his own EMMY-nominated TV show “Food Trip with Todd English.” He’s even been selected as one of the “50 Most Beautiful People” by People Magazine. He has also acted as Chef and hosted many high profile events including the MTV Video Music Awards, Fashion Week, Sundance Film Festival, The Masters, US Open and the Superbowl.

In his philanthropic work he has been involved with many charities and causes including Susan G Komen, Anthony Sipinazzola Foundation, Boys & Girls Clubs, Volunteers of America, Big Brothers of America, Make a Wish Foundation, the Food Bank of NYC and City Harvest. English also formed the Wendy English Breast Cancer Research Foundation in honor of his sister. His contribution to Bentley Residences Miami will definitely not go unnoticed.

With interiors by Bentley Motors, the new private culinary experience promises to be on-of-a-kind. Just as the fabrics and materials incorporated into the design of the living spaces, they will also carry over into the amenity spaces and restaurants. The full development is inspired by Bentley vehicles with a high-gloss flooring, the signature diamond patterning that is also featured on the exterior architecture of the building, the darker color palettes and bold finishes create an upscale moody aesthetic. Backlit banquettes in forest green create a sense of privacy amongst the guests with dramatic louvres cladding the walls for an added hint of drama.

In addition to Chef Todd English, another multi-hyphenate celebrity has taken notice of the unique luxury offered at Bentley Residences Miami. According to an instagram announcement this week, hitmaker Wyclef Jean plans to hang his hat at the new development.

While the account owner prefers to remain incognito, its owner is also the worst-kept secret in town. With continual project updates, a private jet with the Dezer Properties logo on the tail and plenty of Mr. Gil Dezer’s requisite toys on the grid, we all know who it is. It has not yet been made public exactly what Jean purchased during his visit to the Bentley Residences sales gallery, but his cohort Future recently spent $7.5 million on a 3-bedroom layout in the building.

Construction on the 60-floor development is slated to begin this year with closings commencing and keys being distributed in 2026.

Bentley Residences Showcases New Renderings Ahead Of Gil Dezer Day In Sunny Isles

March 1 is a fun day for Sunny Isles Beach. The high season is in full swing, billionaires are basking in the sun along the beach, it is Gil Dezer’s birthday, and the City of Sunny Isles Beach has coined the day “Gil Dezer Day” in appreciation for his contribution(s) to the skyline.

This year, he has released new renderings and timeline updates for the new Bentley Residences Miami. This marks the first-ever residential partnership for the luxury brand, but far from the first partnership with a luxury brand for Mr Dezer. Many of you are already familiar with his work at Armani Casa and Porsche Design Tower which like Bentley Residences, also features a Dezervator. The Dezervator is a specially-designed elevator/car lift that allows residents to remain in their vehicle as it is carried to their doorstep in the sky at 800 feet per minute and stored in a 4-car garage adjacent to the residence (pictured below). A video of the patented elevator/car lift in action can be found here.

This time last year, Dezer was getting ready to open his $10 million sales center on the build site. It did open, and sales took off. We are now anticipating the groundbreaking of the 63-story tower, which is scheduled for June 1, weather and permits permitting of course. Considering everything goes according to schedule, the residences will be delivered in late 2026/early 2027.

When completed, the tower will become the tallest oceanfront building in the United States at 749 feet tall. There will be 216 residences that each feature private 4-car garages and private pools on the balconies of each unit. The balconies are also unique, offering a true indoor/outdoor feel that maximizes the ocean breeze and our amazing South Florida climate.

The building’s design and façade are inspired by the recessed diamond patterning in the interiors of Bentley automobiles. It features reflective glass triangle panels that are each set 3 inches deep to form a glittering diamond shape, according to Sieger Suarez.

Suarez also gushed about the interiors of the residences and their nod to the distinctive style of Bentley’s brand. The faucets in the bathroom and kitchen feature the same grippy texture of the metal shift knobs in the cars. The fully-integrated kitchen hides behind sliding walls of deep walnut tones and high gloss finishes, emulating the feel of the high polish wood grain trim.

Since the opening of the sales gallery, residences have sold quickly. In under a year the development is nearly 50% spoken for with prices ranging from $5.5 million to $57 million for the upper penthouse. The average price for a preconstruction residence is between $7 million to $9 million according to Dezer.

Dezer Prepares to Launch Sales of Bentley Residences With $10M Sales Center

Bentley Motors and Dezer Development are ramping up to launch sales of their new ultra-luxury development, Bentley Residences Miami, the first ever Bentley-branded residential tower in the world.

In proper Dezer form, no expense has been spared in the 12,000 square foot opulent waterfront sales gallery, located at 184th and Collins Avenue in Sunny Isles Beach. The gallery includes an entire 6,000 square foot residence built-out as it will be delivered in 2026 as well as a massive theater and fully-staffed brokers’ lounge with champagne and Macallan whiskey flowing, at a cost of over $10 million. Keeping true to its name, a Bentley Brand Room will occupy a dedicated area within the gallery to offer an immersive Bentley experience for those who still can’t get enough of all that the flying B brings with it.

Setting an entirely new standard for luxury living, these two pioneering industry brands have joined forces for one of the most revolutionary, highly-anticipated partnerships in the world of luxury and hospitality.

When completed, Bentley Residences will rise 749 feet over the Atlantic Ocean, making it the tallest building on a United States beachfront. There will be 216 residences, each at least 6,000 square feet with an additional 2,000 square feet of outdoor living space. Each terrace has a private pool overlooking a dramatic seascape up to 60 floors up.

Gil Dezer, a car enthusiast who is known for unapologetically enjoying his wealth said, “Shorter is easier, cheaper, faster. It was about fitting in all the available square footage that we could sell in the tower.”

Also staying true-to-form, Dezer is building another of his patented Dezervators for the Bentley project. For those who are new to Miami real estate, Dezer patented a state-of-the-art car elevator for his 2016 project, Porsche Design Tower. The Dezervator takes residents from the ground level of the building directly to their apartments, so they can park by the door as though they were in a home. This is far more convenient than having to deal with valet, who would be all sweaty in your car and mess with your seat settings while you wait. With Bentley Residences, the experience will be upgraded. Each residence includes 3 or 4 spots, allowing car enthusiasts to demonstrate their collections to others as they come and go from the building.

To see a preview of the Dezervator from Gil himself, check out this Youtube video.

“Owners of collector cars purchase them as pieces of rolling art, and we are happy to be able to provide a proper showcase for them in the residence by bringing the car up in the Dezervator and parking it adjacent to the unit, on view through a glass wall dividing the garage from the living room,” says Gil Dezer, president of Dezer Development. “Having four parking spaces adjacent to your unit . . . is a game-changer.”

Aside from the Dezervator, the new tower will represent Bentley throughout. This is not a simple licensing deal for the tower and the brand. For starters, the cars have a distinct diamond stitching, so that was added to the exterior glass allowing for the development to be unmistakably Bentley from the moment you drive in from the street. They have also incorporated the special metal feel that the cars offer on every touch point into the apartments. This includes manufacturing their own faucet handles, door handles etc so that they have the special Bentley knurling.

And that is just the tip of the iceberg. A life-sized Bentley sculpture is being installed in front of the sales center and will be moved to the entry of the development when completed.

The development sits on a 3.6-acre waterfront site at 184th and Collins Avenue. It is designed by Sieger-Suarez Architects, the same team that is responsible for other super-luxury developments that include Porsche Design Tower and Residences by Armani Casa. Prices of the 216 residences are slated to begin at $4.2 million, up to $6 million. Penthouses are expected to begin in the range of $20 million.

The sales center is expected to open within the coming weeks, stay tuned for a followup on the interior finishes and floor plans of the residences.
