Construction Updates For E11even Residences And Beyond

E11EVEN Residences and Beyond, the sister building to E11EVEN Hotel and Residences in Downtown Miami’s entertainment district, has received it’s Urban Design and Review Board, despite having broken ground in June and work commencing immediately.

The approval was received on July 24 with a 5-0 unanimous vote in favor of the highly successful project with the suggestion that the decorative façade on the north side of the building continue all the way to the ground and confirm that the parking configuration will function properly, according to The Next Miami.

The groundbreaking took place on June 21 and also served to commemorate the receipt of a $262 million construction loan to fund the project.

About E11EVEN Residences & Beyond

After the success of E11EVEN Hotel and Residences and Hotel, the developer Property Markets Group (PMG) and the nightclub partner E11EVEN Partners decided to expand on their success. It seems Miami is in-fact ready for a true Vegas-style residential development that is tied to an entertainment brand.

E11EVEN Hotel and Residences sold out in record time, with many buyers even paying with crypto. For E11EVEN Residences and Beyond, the crypto option has expired however this has not been a deterrent for sales. Before word could even properly spread that a second tower is in the works, it was already 80% pre-sold.

When completed by the end of 2026, both towers will rise 65 stories adjacent to their namesake super-club. E11EVEN Residences and Beyond will have 550 units.

Current purchase opportunities range from the $600,000’s up to $30 million.

Amenities in the towers are set to include a “casino-style” sports lounge, wellness center with spa and fitness center, an E11EVEN Day Club at the pool with cabanas and service and a rooftop venue. Restaurants are expected to open by Riviera Dining Group and the project has recently added a $25 million private social and cigar club called The Clayton. There will also be a rooftop helipad.

Celebrities have also caught on to the project, with WNBA player Candace Parker, ESPN co-host Sage Steele, and MMA fighter Luke Rockhold purchasing units in the towers. Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios has been seen in the sales center instead of being at Wimbledon although it is unclear whether or not he actually purchased.

In a record-setting deal, Jake Paul and Logan Paul purchased neighboring penthouses in the project for $20 million apiece.

A Construction Update For The Waldorf Astoria Miami Residences (And Some Bonus History)

We last checked in on the construction progress at the anticipated Waldorf Astoria Residences Miami back in the springtime. Since then, Developer PMG and Contractor Moriarty been hard at work getting ready for the tallest tower South of New York to rise 100 floors over Downtown Miami. It is time for another update.

They are currently wrapping up their site work and have started obtaining permits for the next phase. Permits for three tower cranes have been approved, two at 1255-feet, one at 365-feet above ground level. Work orders have gone out with anticipation of installing the cranes before October 24, according to The Next Miami. They are approved to remain until August 23, 2027.

At this rate, we could potentially see vertical construction earlier than the anticipated Q-1 of 2024 date.

Hyper-Reality Meta Tours Of The Finished Project

In the interim of being able to tour the project in-person, the developer has partnered with YUPIX Meta-Reality to allow buyers a hyper-reality tour in their sales gallery.

The construction process is expected to last until late 2027 and the 360 private residences are already 88% sold. They were able to sell 50% of the homes before construction even began, marking the desirability of a statement tower like this from a brand like Waldorf Astoria in Downtown Miami.

Stand-Out Features

The residences range in size from studios up to four-bedroom layouts and are trimmed out with elegant design aspects that adhere to the Waldorf Astoria brand specifics. These include marble walls in the primary bathroom, dual vanities and dual shower heads.

Waldorf Astoria Miami has taken this a step further by adding two shower heads plus a Swedish rain shower in the primary shower, a separate MTI soaking tub looking out over the city and Biscayne Bay, and crystal-adorned Dornbracht plumbing fixtures that are unblushingly luxurious.

Other features of the residences that stand out are drop-down televisions in every primary suite and since the building is constructed without exterior columns, the floor-to-ceiling impact windows envelope the entire home for an uncompromised view.

On the terraces, you will find electric summer kitchens and plenty of room for entertaining. Since the building is so tall on the coastline, the terraces are partially enclosed with impact glass panels. This allows stoppage from the winds that can occur so high in the sky and a peaceful entertaining experience again, without compromising any views.

Peacock Alley

One of the many brand-specific amenities that will be offered is a historic Peacock Alley on the 19th floor. Every one of the 34 Waldorf Astoria Hotels in the world has one and Miami’s will not disappoint. With triple-height ceilings it features dramatic gold lighting fixtures that are inspired by clocks and are suspended above the lounge.

The history behind Peacock Alley is that in 1893, the first Waldorf Astoria was comprised of two buildings that were connected by a beautiful and luxurious corridor. In that day, the elite would dress in dramatic luxury, particularly the ladies. The gentlemen jokingly referred to the corridor as Peacock Alley since the ladies would venture back and forth between the amenities of the two tower.

In 1929, the hotel was demolished to make way for the Empire State Building and in 1931 reopened in it’s new Park Avenue location. This is where Peacock Alley began being added as an eatery and lounge in every Waldorf Astoria thus far.

Although, as mentioned above, the project is 88% spoken-for, there are some purchase opportunities available with prices ranging from the $4 million range for studios up to $43 million for a penthouse.

Inside E11even Residences Beyond, Including The Clayton – An Illustrious Private Social Club

Coming off of the wild success of Miami’s first Vegas-Style residential property, Property Markets Group (PMG) has unveiled E11even Residences Beyond. This is the second tower of E11even Residences and Hotel, which is currently under construction near Miami World Center in Downtown Miami’s Art & Entertainment district.

E11even Residences Beyond will also feature 65-stories of entertainment and nightlife-themed residences and resort-style amenity spaces with 558 residences that can be rented out for a month or longer. Connecting to the first tower by an illuminated sky bridge, the two developments will share their proximity to the 24-hour nightclub of the same name just across the street.

E11even is a nightlife anomaly even in a town with a reputation for a healthy nightlife appetite from visitors arriving from around the world, like Miami. It is a 24/7 hub of entertainment flocked with celebrities, recording artists, dancing, gourmet food and cocktails, and the entertainment. E11even never stops and now party goers will have a place nearby to rest and enjoy their own space.

The development boasts a member’s-only rooftop pool, bar and restaurant as well as a spa designed by Deepak Chopra, the world-renowned holistic health advocate and author. There will also be a casino-style sports lounge, a day club, rooftop restaurant, helipad and The Clayton. The Clayton is a boutique chain of London-style private social clubs. It began in Chicago and has since opened another location in Washington DC.

Celebrities have already begun to notice. While most of the names are kept under wraps in order to protect their privacy, Youtube/Professional Fight Sensations Jake and Logan Paul have made their penthouse purchases public. Given E11even’s proximity to the newly-named Kaseya Arena where the Miami Heat have their home court, combined with the night club’s popularity with rappers such as Drake, CardiB, Offset, and Anuel, we expect there are plenty of names from both the team rosters as well as from the Billboard Hot 100 charts that will soon share the same address.

The first tower of the development is currently under construction, with completion expected in late 2025. E11even Residences Beyond has recently opened sales and has options available ranging from $300,000 studios to $30 million penthouses.

“District 11 continues to offer a one-of-a-kind lifestyle that is exhilarating for us to watch unfold,” said Marc Roberts of E11EVEN Partners and co-developer of E11EVEN Residences Beyond. “We’re excited to welcome The Clayton to its newest location in the middle of this incredible destination, and we look forward to watching it thrive as District 11 further transforms into a dynamic neighborhood to live, work, and play in. ”

Waldorf Astoria Miami Residences Announces Groundbreaking Date

After a slight delay due to weather, Property Markets Group (PMG) has announced the official groundbreaking date for their spectacular new tower in Downtown Miami, the 100-story Waldorf Astoria Miami Residences. On Thursday, October 27, 2022, construction will officially begin on the 1,049-foot skyscraper at 300 Biscayne Boulevard, just across from Bayfront Park.

The design of the tower is as spectacular as the interior of the project. Asymmetrically-stacked cubes will rise in a spiraling form, designed by Sieger Suarez Architects in collaboration with Carlos Ott. The two design powerhouses have previously collaborated on Echo Brickell in the Miami Financial District. Additionally, the cubes will be wrapped in what is known as a “glass skin,” which distinguishes the project from anything else on the East Coast. With the stacked cubes, each apartment will embrace a sweeping view of the bustling Downtown Miami area, Brickell Financial District, Miami Beach as well as the Biscayne Bay, Port Of Miami, Venetian Islands all the way to the Atlantic Ocean.

For the interiors, PMG partnered with BAMO, an award-winning design firm based in San Francisco. They are responsible for the interiors of many different locations of The Four Seasons Resorts including the locations in Dubai, Sao Paulo, Boston, Chicago and Madrid. For The Ritz Carlton brand, they designed the location in Chicago and lest we not forget The Palace Hotel in New York. They have created an environment that captivates the flow and function of guests, allowing them to feel more welcome, at ease and inspired to live and dream more fully.

“The highly-anticipated groundbreaking of Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Residences Miami sets a new tone and new standard for development here in Miami. The market is thriving and projects like this are coming to life to meet the demand from our luxury audience,” said Ryan Shear, Managing Partner of PMG. “Working with our partners and the Hilton team behind Waldorf Astoria has been incredibly rewarding, and we look forward to continuing our upward momentum.”
