Housing Predictor has ranked the Top 10 cities with the highest probability of appreciation in the United States through 2016, and Miami, of course, comes in at #1.
Now, I am not surprised by this because I live and breathe the Miami real estate market and understand the incredible rebound the market has had over the past few years. Housing Predictor explains in their projection that Miami is the exception to the rule that “most of the best real estate markets are centrally located to attract a large number of sizeable employers, and are likely to produce better regional economic conditions as a result,” because Miami tops the list with the highest projected housing inflation. The projection also points out that “if there’s ever been a time to buy housing in Miami in this decade, chances are this is it.” I have to say I agree, whether you are purchasing a second or third home or strictly for investment purposes, Miami is the best place to invest your money.
Why Miami???
Miami is an internationally celebrated destination for tourists from all over the globe and has been for many years. Everyone knows about Miami’s tropical weather and beautiful beaches, but Miami has become much more than that in recent years. With foreign investors pouring into South Florida since the crash, bringing with them a lot of money and businesses, many private equity and international banking firms have placed their headquarters right here in Miami, particularly the Brickell neighborhood of Greater Downtown Miami.
Furthermore, Miami has seen astonishing exponential growth over the past few years and will continue to prosper with the materialization of technology and venture capital groups. Miami also offers a better value for real estate when compared with other major cities and has all of the accommodations to attract investors from all around the world.
With the unprecedented economic growth continuing in Miami, the sky really is the limit. The economy and real estate market in Miami will continue to stay on top.
