Downtown Miami has recently become a winter wonderland destination, as the annual “Miami on Ice” returned to the InterContinental Hotel along Biscayne Bay in the epicenter of Downtown Miami this past weekend!
Miami on Ice is an ice skating rink at the InterContinental Hotel offering 6 inches of real ice, so that Miamians and tourists alike, can experience a winter wonderland over the holidays right here in sunny Miami.
The annual ice skating rink opened this past Friday (December 2, 2016) and will remain open through and including Sunday, January 8, 2017. During this period, the rink will be open to the public Mondays-Fridays from 3-11pm and Saturdays & Sundays from 11am-11pm (closed daily from 5-6pm for resurfacing). Additional hours are an option for special events, upon request.
Ice Rink Rates:
Adults: $15/hour
Children 12 and under: $12/hour
(Admission includes discounted valet parking and ice skate rental)
The InterContinental Miami Hotel originally presented this cheerful experience to Miami back in 2011 and have remained with the tradition ever since to give Miamians the true feeling of winter during the holidays. This year they are also offering an assortment of package deals and event accommodations with a portion of the proceeds donated to Neighbors 4 Neighbors Adopt-A-Family for the Holidays program.
