Curbed Miami just crowned Coconut Grove as the neighborhood of the year champion for 2015!
For the past few years, Curbed has held an annual contest in December for readers to vote on their favorite neighborhood in Miami. And, this year, Coconut Grove beat out Sunset Harbour by a 303-249 vote for the crown.
Coconut Grove, commonly referred to as “The Grove,” joins previous champions, MiMo District (2014), Sunset Harbour (2013) and Midtown (2012) as winners of Curbed Cup Miami.
As a resident of Coconut Grove, I am not surprised in the least that Coconut Grove has been named Miami’s neighborhood of the year. Coconut Grove is such a unique community in Miami and is celebrated for its friendly, laid-back atmosphere and beautiful parks and marinas along the glistening waters of Biscayne Bay. Coconut Grove offers such natural landscaping beauty, amazing food, fun entertainment, boutique shopping and breathtaking bay views, it is definitely an amazing place to call home!
