Miami’s Design District Will Add Flagship Gucci Store & 30 Other Luxe Stores & Restaurants

 
Miami’s Design District is adding over 30 luxury stores and restaurants to its high-end, open-air shopping district including Gucci and a posh Cuban restaurant by Emilio and Gloria Estefan, which will further the Design District’s positive transformation into a destination for avant-garde fashion, design, art and culture

Gucci plans to open a 7,000-square-foot flagship store in 2017, which is a “big step forward for us in the luxury category,” said Design District developer Craig Robbins, according to the Miami Herald. Gucci will accompany Christian Louboutin as heavy-hitter “anchors” of the district as Louboutin expands to open a flagship store next spring.

Below is a list of the new stores and restaurants that will open in the Design District by the end of 2017.

Retailers/Stores: Gucci, Christian Louboutin, Dolce & Gabbana, Tory Burch, Saint Laurent, Diane von Furstenberg, Alice & Olivia, Rag & Bone, Warby Parker, Alexander Wang, MM6, COS, Eres, Stefano Ricci, Isabel Marant, Sevan Biçakçi, Joseph, Tod’s, Van Cleef & Arpels, Aesop, Creed, Ahana Yoga, Citco and Loro Piana

Restaurants: Estefan Kitchen, chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s ABC Kitchen, The Smile and Le Bar de Joël Robuchon, La Boutique de Joël Robuchon and La Terrace de Joël Robuchon

These new luxury stores and restaurants will join already flourishing brands such as Bulgari, Cartier, Givenchy, Fendi, Hermés and Giorgio Armani which have already become established in the neighborhood.
