The annual Great Grove Bed Race in Coconut Grove is set to take off on Saturday, November 8, 2014.  Only a few months away, it is time to sign up and possibly be a part of an MTV reality show.

The Great Grove Bed Race will take place on South Bayshore Drive in the heart of Coconut Grove.  The race will feature fun for the whole family including live music and a celebrity Grand Marshall, according to the Coconut Grove Grapevine.  Most importantly, this year the Great Grove Bed Race will benefit the charity Little Smiles, which is a charity dedicated to providing children sick in local hospitals with an escape from their unfortunate circumstances for a period of time by providing them with anything from toys to electronics to VIP special event outings.  Little Smiles is extremely excited to be a part of this fun event as it is their “ultimate goal to brighten a child’s day and allow them to just be a kid again.  The bed race is a wonderful place to play, be alive and make a difference,” said Josh Daniels, Executive Director of Little Smiles, according to the Coconut Grove Grapevine.
