On March 14, 2015, Downtown Miami will bring back street racing to South Florida by featuring the Formula-E Miami ePrix race, round 5 of the FIA Formula-E race schedule. Formula-E races are taking place in the most exciting cities throughout the world including Beijing, Buenos Aires, Monte Carlo, Berlin, London and right here in Miami.

The Miami race will take place in Downtown Miami in an 8-turn, 2.17 km, temporary street circuit stretching along the beautiful Biscayne Bay around the American Airlines Arena, home of the Miami Heat. Event organizers started placing concrete barriers in the streets of Downtown Miami weeks ago to prepare for the temporary race track.
This famous race will be celebrated internationally by people clamoring to come to Miami from all around the world to celebrate this exciting event. What does this mean for Miami real estate? Well, this could positively affect the condo market in Miami. Many of these international visitors may end up buying condos in the Downtown Miami and Brickell area as investments and/or homes away from home.
