Coconut Grove is the oldest neighborhood in all of Miami and is considered a hidden gem by many South Floridians. Coconut Grove is a tropical oasis situated along Biscayne Bay celebrated for its friendly, serene streets, beautiful parks, marinas and its artsy and Bohemian feel. In addition to these astounding qualities, Coconut Grove is known for its ultra-luxury homes including houses, townhouses and condos.
As a Coconut Grove resident, I was interested in the top real estate sales of 2014 in the Grove. Thus, I compiled a list of the 25 most expensive Coconut Grove real estate sales of 2014 from the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) and displayed the statistics chart above. What is interesting is that the most expensive home to sell in the Grove in 2014 was a condo at Grovenor House. Unit 3001 sold in November for a whopping $8.6 Million which is $1,233.86 per square foot. In fact, 6 of the 25 listed sales on this chart are Grovenor House condos.
