Miami Open 2018 is set for March 19th – April 1st

 
The annual Miami Open, the most exciting tennis event on both the women and men’s tours, will be hosting the best tennis stars from around the world at the Tennis Center at Crandon Park in Key Biscayne for a 2-week, star-studded and fun-filled event. The tournament will begin on March 19th and conclude with the women’s singles final / men’s doubles final on Saturday, March 31st and the men’s singles final / women’s doubles final on Sunday, April 1st.

The Miami Open, presented this year by Itaú, is owned and operated by IMG, a global leader in the sports and entertainment industry. The Miami Open is 1 of 9 ATP Masters 1000 Series events on the ATP calendar and a Premiere Mandatory event on the WTA calendar. Moreover, this tournament is widely recognized as the most glamorous and vibrant tennis tournament because of its location in Miami.

The Miami Open is more than just a tennis tournament, as it includes an exhilarating 2 weeks of tennis, fashion, food and fun. If you have never been to the Miami Open, it is definitely a must do on anyone’s Miami bucket list. And, this year is a special year because it is the last year that it will be held at Crandon Park in Key Biscayne. After 32 years, IMG announced that the Miami Open will be relocated next year (2019) to the Hard Rock Stadium where brand-new tennis facilities will be built to provide better player amenities, ample parking and an unparalleled fan experience. Construction on the new tennis facilities will begin this year, to prepare for the 2019 tournament.
