Regatta Harbour…The New Dine, Shop & Play Bayfront Hotspot in Coconut Grove Posted on May 9, 2019 by Michael Light Regatta Harbour, formerly called ‘The Harbour,’ is the highly-anticipated 9.5-acre, bayfront, mixed-use project that will completely transform Coconut Grove’s historic Dinner Key into a South Florida waterfront hotspot. Situated at 3385 Pan American Drive on Dinner Key along Biscayne Bay in the Coconut Grove neighborhood of Miami, Florida, Regatta Harbour will be a brand-new shop, dine and play destination offering fine and alfresco casual dining, boutique and flagship shopping, boating dockage and access, outdoor waterfront space and venues for concerts and other events. Designed by Arquitectonica and developed by the TREO Group, this dynamic destination will offer over 80,000 square feet of retail, service and restaurant spaces, 3 signature restaurants, Afishonado, Cut + Dry, Hangar 42 Pub & Grill, 700 linear feet of floating docks, over 600 parking spaces and it will be conveniently linked to the Coconut Grove Bay Walk right beside Regatta Park, which is a 7-acre waterfront public park with jogging paths, bike paths, public exercise equipment, picnic areas, butterfly gardens and an innovative dockmaster building. Regatta Harbour in Coconut Grove will consist of the following restaurants: a•fish•o•na•do – An upscale “boat to table” seafood restaurant by Bravo’s ‘Top Chef’ winner, Jeremy Ford. Cut + Dry – A trendy 6,000-square-foot steakhouse focusing on sourcing the highest quality meats and ingredients presented in an elevated yet casual setting. Hangar 42 Pub & Grill – An outdoor casual restaurant that will be designed to capture the nautical and aeronautical spirit of historic Coconut Grove, offering more than 200 seats and serving fast-casual-type eats such as fish tacos, fresh grilled fish, sandwiches and salads. Regatta Harbour will also feature historic hangars, which have been preserved and renovated, but will still give us that warmth of rich history that the hangars represent. From 1918 until the 1930’s, Dinner Key was home to the very first continental Naval air station. In the 1930’s the famous Pan Am Airlines took over operations and turned the base into a seaplane base for seaplanes flying throughout South American and the Caribbean. Regatta Harbour is currently under construction and is set to open in 2020, but the first phase has already been completed. The first phase was the much-needed improvement of the Grove Key Marina which was demolished and replaced with a high-tech design. The new Regatta Harbour Marina offers dry storage racks with enough room for more than 400 vessels.
