Renderings of 700 MiamiCentral

All Aboard Florida’s Downtown Miami express passenger rail service station has just been renamed MiamiCentral, according to exMiami.  Previously dubbed Miami’s Grand Central Station, MiamiCentral will be situated adjacent to the Miami Worldcenter and will offer 178,000 square feet of retail space with a 32,817 square foot food hall that will act as an anchor for the retail space.

MiamiCentral will also feature 700 MiamiCentral which will include a complex of office and retail space along with ample parking. Located in Overtown on land now known as Block 56, 700 MiamiCentral will boast approximately 1,180 parking spaces, 36,500 square feet of retail space and 109,000 square feet of office space.  Construction on 700 MiamiCentral is expected to begin soon with a completion date of December 2016.

The new renderings of MiamiCentral also reveal a Supertower spanning approximately 1,115,000 square feet.  The Supertower will boast 280,000 square feet of residential space, 225,000 square feet of hotel space and 610,000 square feet of office space.  More details to come at a later date.
